Two Indians win million dollars each at Dubai Duty Free raffle

Dubai, Aug 7: Two Indians won one million US$ each in the Dubai Duty Free Millionaire draw held on Tuesday. Neeraj Hari from Kerala and Bantwal Annu Sudhakar are the two lucky individuals who won the raffle.

Neeraj Hari, who works in a private logistics company in Dubai, said he will be sharing his winning ticket with other colleagues and friends who pitched in to buy the ticket. As reported in Gulf news, he said, he has loans back in India and he will use part of the winning money to repay the debt. "Rest will be placed in deposits,” he said.

The second winner, Bantwal Annu Sudhakar, a 47-year-old expat and father of two, based in Ras Al Khaimah, will also be sharing his prize money with colleagues who contributed to buy the ticket which is worth Dh1,000. Sudhakar is a UAE resident from past 10 years and works as a power plant manager for UTICO and is a regular participant of the million-dollar promotion.

A surprised Sudhakar told Gulf News, ''This is amazing, I cannot believe that we won. My team is very happy, and a big thank you to Dubai Duty Free!”
