Kundapur: Man operating bakery at Bengaluru found dead

Kundapur, Aug 7: A person was found to have died by consuming poisonous substance near the cashew plantation of the government on the west side of Jadi Road in Kanyana village in the taluk. The deceased was Balakrishna (31) from Kundabarandadi village.

Balakrishna was running bakery business at Bengaluru. His phone was found to have been switched off on August 3 and 4. His relatives called his bakery owner and relatives but there was no information about his whereabouts. On August 5, the family came to know that he was found dead near his native place.

Balakrishna's brother-in-law, Subrahmanya Kundabarandadi, who went to the spot, found a bottle containing poison and a packet containing poisonous substance near the body. Subrahmanya still said in a police complaint that the family suspects foul play in this death.

A complaint stands filed in Kundapur rural police station in this regard.
