Beltangady, Aug 7: Titular feast o the Most Holy Redeemer church was celebrated on Tuesday, August 6 with devotion.
Fr Walter D’Mello, judicial vicar, diocese of Mangaluru, celebrated the Holy Mass and in his homily reflecting the word of God he said, “Our retreats, novena prayers masses are not helping us to transfer our life and turn towards God and reach out our neighbor then it is useless. Priests of the deanary concelebrated along with parish priest Fr Bonaventure Nazareth, Fr Jason Monis, principal, Holy Redeemer English Medium School. The church was full with devotees’ in spite of relentless downpour.
The festal meal was arranged after the Holy Mass. The meals were sponsored and prepared by the parishioners. Around 1,200 participated in the meal.
