Udupi: Bajjodi FC wins Pilar Football Cup

Udupi, Aug 6: Pilar Football Cup – 2019 was organized on August 4 by Pilar Football Club at Don Bosco Youth Centre, Shirva.

The inauguration ceremony was presided by president of Pilar Football Club Floyd D’souza. The chief guests were Fr Leandro Gracious (Rector DBYC, Shirva), Fr San Carvalho and Br Jayson.

As many as 19 teams participated. After all the knockout matches, Bajjodi FC and Gonzaga FC qualified to play the final which was won by Bajjodi FC with a 1-0 victory and Gonzaga FC had to settle for the runners-up prize.

The winners and runners were awarded and felicitated by Simon D’Souza and Gregory B Menezes in the felicitation ceremony.
