Bantwal: Police arrest accused wanted in two cases from Chikkamagaluru

Bantwal, Aug 5: Police personnel of Bantwal rural police station have arrested a person, who was carrying warrant on him on two different cases.

Mohammed Asif (39), son of Bava Byari, a resident of Hosa Nagara Mane, Kalayi of Ammunje village of the taluk is the person who was arrested by the police. Warrant for arrest is served on Mohammed for cases under 163/2011 column 341, 504, 506 IPC and 219/2008 column 98 KP act.

Mohammed was arrested by the police from Chikkamagaluru on Sunday, August 4. He has got cases registered against him under 144/2008, column 379 IPC at Bantwal town police station and 169/2016 column 379 IPC at Panambur police station.
