Bengaluru, Aug 2: During the 24-hour period ended Thursday morning, most parts of coastal Karnataka and a couple of places in south interior and north interior Karnataka got normal rainfall.
During the said period, Beltangady, Kadra, Jagalpet and Londa registered five cm of rainfall each, the highest in the state.
Kollur and Nippani got four cm rainfall each while Yellapur, Chikkodi, Sedbal, Raibag and Agumbe experienced three cm rainfall each.
The meteorological department, in its prediction that is valid till Saturday morning, said that most parts of the coast and a few places within interior Karnataka will get normal rainfall.
