Mumbai, Jun 9: Metro-based Devadiga Sangh organized a seminar on ‘Power Point Thinking’ and a health camp on Sunday June 7 at Devadiga Bhavan auditorium, Nerul, Navi Mumbai.
Eminent psychiatrist Dr Shweta Shahi was the key speaker who explained the positive ways to lead a happy and peaceful life through live demonstrations.
Dr Shahi also talked of the tragedies caused by negative thoughts and emphasized necessity for clarity of thought and purpose. She also stressed the need for brief physical exercises daily.
Sangh president K K Mohandas and women’s wing president Prafulla Devadiga honoured Dr Shahi by presenting her with a memento and a flower bouquet.
Specially-invited guests Dr Rahul Patoria, Prafull Patel, Dr Vikram Rajgopal, and Dr Ashok were also honoured on the occasion.
Sangh office-bearers Vasu Devadiga and Ravi S Devadiga, Pushpa Rao, Prafulla Devadiga, Prabhakar Devadiga, Anand Devadiga, Janardhan Sherigar, Krishna N Sherigar, Sundar Moily, Dr Rekha Devadiga, and H Mohandas were present on the dais.
Sangh social activities wing secretary lawyer Prabhakar Devadiga welcomed the gathering. Education committee president Shyam A Ramadi introduced the speaker. Dr Rekha Devadiga proposed the vote of thanks.
