Daijiworld Media Network - Moodbidri

Moodbidri, Jul 28: Mangaluru police commissioner Sandeep Patil took swift action against the bus driver and owner after he received complaint about overloading in a passenger bus on Sunday, July 28. The bus also overlooked the safety of the students.

Earlier Sandeep Patil had received the complaint through twitter from a person named Suraj Jain M. Suraj had mentioned that the bus was carrying students in a dangerous manner by allowing them to use the rear ladder. He attached the photographs also. He asked who would be responsible if anything happened to the students.

The police commissioner, through twitter, replied that the case has been booked against the bus driver and owner. Letter has been written to RTO for cancellation of driving licence of the driver and the permit of the bus, he said.

Here most of the people blaming for driver and conductor , think thoroughly here mistakes is who are going to in this dangerous situation that passengers problem think your own golden future life before goes in this condition and don't think after in case anything it will happen life is spoil. Think your family. Time is doesn't matter if little delay to school or any other works. Life is more valuable to diamonds or any other more valuable things.

There are many aspects to be noted.First bus is overloaded.second because students have to reach college or school in right time, when conductor or driver doesnt allow students to get in,next day or same day in a anger students will either throw stones to bus or let conductor and driver get down and thrash them.why dont they allow more buses os transport during the important schooling times? Now cancelled licence of the bus and driver ,condector etc.well done, now police should see that children should reach school or college at right time.Police commissar, please think twice before doing that.how people will reach now their working place?Instead give a warning to all of them and take back your orders.Think of students and workers ,teachers going to school. In mangalore too is the same scenery.why dont they do there same action?

The swift action by The Police should also be a lesson to various drives and owners of vehicles. It is the lives of people that are endangered and therefore it should serve as a lesson to other defaulters too.

Instead of canceling the permit, why don’t you ask RTO and Public transport service to arrange some more government buses at morning and evening school time????? And suspend local RTO officers

Use all Social media..record, and broadcast to the concerned authorities with proof and day to day activities for swift and decisive action...
Otherwise, it's impossible to control 1.3 billion and unruly masses..
    Need 100% discipline...

Cancelling a DL is not appreciable.
That driver has to earn his living.

Take swift action against students who travel without ticket also!

Some students while studying in the city travel daily on pass basis. But actually they dont have bus pass. When conductor comes and ask "ticket" they say loudly by looking down and say "PAASSSS"

    Look at the 2nd photograph...
A motor cycle rider without helmet.....

    Why the bus is overloaded???
Because of less frequency of service buses on this road in the school time. Hence RTO should issue a new permit instead of cancelling the permit of existing bus service. Morning within a gap of 15 minutes two service buses instead of one will solve the problem of school children and public.....
Fine the bus owner and the driver for overloading the bus....

Here, bus drivers / conductors can not only be blamed. If driver/conductor does not allow them to board the bus, there will be verbal tussle and other passengers will be disturbed. So, it is passengers who would travel risking their life like this are solely responsible for anything abnormal happens.

Very good action by you Sir.

Very good action taken by our police commissioner. If you do this way other bus drivers and owners will be alert. Today morning I was travelling from mudbidre to mangalore remembring the major accident took place few days back but the driving of the driver was very smooth and I reached within the scheduled time.
