Bengaluru, Jul 27: On the very next day after assuming power for the fourth time, Karnataka chief minister B S Yediyurappa on Saturday flew by helicopter to the Tubinakere helipad in Mandya district to visit the Sri Siddalingeshwaraswamy temple at Gavimath and later drove off to visit the Sri Cheluvarayaswamy temple in his native place of Bookanakere in Krishnarajapurapet taluk.
The chief minister was accompanied by BJP leader Basavaraja Bommai and his son B Y Raghavendra, BJP MP of Shivamogga district and other local party leaders during his visit to the temples.
Yediyurappa, who is scheduled to seek the trust vote in the assembly on Monday, received petitions from the local people during his visit to his native district of Mandya.
