Bengaluru: IMA's Mansoor Khan again complains of chest pain, taken to hospital

Bengaluru, Jul 23: Head of IMA Jewellery, Mansoor Khan, who appears to have been shaken by the intensive questioning of the enforcement directorate, again complained of chest pain. He was admitted into Victoria Hospital here in the wee hours of Monday July 22.

The enforcement directorate officials had begun to question him over the Ponzi scam Khan had indulged in, reportedly with the support of several bigwigs including politicians. After the questioning session began, Khan had said he was suffering from chest pain.On Sunday evening, he was admitted into Victoria Hospital and treated. Later, he was referred to Jayadeva heart hospital as no problem was found in his his health condition at Victoria Hospital. After the doctors there certified that Mansoor was fine, the enforcement directorate officials had escorted him to their office for questioning.

However, at around 3 am on Monday, Mansoor again said he was suffering from chest pain. He was taken to Victoria Hospital and treated. All the test reports there were normal but Mansoor said he had chest pain. Enforcement directorate officials said that he may be complaining about health complications to escape from being grilled.

Mansoor had said in a video released some days back that he was prepared to come back to Karnataka and cooperate with investigation if he is provided with police security. But once he was entrusted to enforcement directorate for three days, he has been complaining of chest pain. He was questioned on Saturday, but Sunday and Monday were lost in taking him to hospital and conducting tests.

It is said that he has already given details of politicians who have collected money from him. The officials said that they will continue with questioning of Khan once he recovers fully.
