Kundapur: Man erecting fence for his field collapses to death

Kundapur, Jul 18: Gundu Shettigar (76) living on Boovinakere Math Road in Vakwady village in the taluk died when erecting fence for his field on Wednesday, July 17.

Sheettigar had left home to erect fencing around the borders of his agricultural field. He did not return home for long. His wife went to the spot to check and found that her husband had fallen motionless on the ground with his face down.

She then arranged to take him to a private hospital at Koteshwar for treatment. The doctors there checked him and found him brought dead.
