Bengaluru: ACB arrests two labour inspectors for illegal collection of money

Bengaluru, Jul 14: Two senior labour inspectors of the labour department of the government were arrested by the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) for allegedly collecting money illegally.

The arrested senior labour inspectors are Govindaraju and Venkatesh. The ACB slueths informed that Rs 13.6 lac in cash, two cars and a laptop is confiscated from the accused duo.

A complaint was registered against labour department officers Govindraju, Venkatesh, Shivananda and Chouhan in the ACB alleging that they are collecting money illegally. However, the ACB officials have not yet given any clarification on from whom these officers were collecting money or whether it was bribe.

    Why dont they arrest them?only their cars or laptops etc is not done.show some action and teach them a lesson.High punishment should be put .God knows how many of such thieves are there.
