Mangaluru: M Vinayakumar takes charge as director refinery MRPL

Mangaluru, Jul 12: M Vinayakumar took charge as director refinery, MRPL on Thursday, July 11. He was appointed as director refinery in MRPL by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.

M Vinayakumar graduated as a Mechanical engineer from Cochin University of Science and Technology in the year 1982. Subsequently he completed his diploma in Management. He began his career in Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) in 1982. Later he joined MRPL as manager project in 1993.

He handled various responsibilities in different departments like Projects, Engineering, Technical Services etc., over the years and became group general manager (in charge-Refinery), before being appointed as director refinery. He is also a Director in M/s ONGC Mangalore Petrochemicals Limited and M/s Shell MRPL Aviation Fuels and Services Limited.
