Bengaluru, Jul 11: A woman, who was upset as her husband is not spending time with the family, killed her nine-year-old, sick daughter by suffocation and committed suicide.

This heart-wrenching incident occurred on the night of Tuesday at Akshaya Nagar of Yelahanka New Town police station limits of the city.

Priya (36), wife of Civil engineer Suresh Babu, a resident of Akshaya Nagar is the lady who killed herself after suffocating her daughter Pratiksha to death.

A case of murder and suicide is registered against the deceased Priya by the Yelahanka New Town police station.
