Udupi: MP Shobha urges transport minister Nitin Gadkari to fast-track road development projects

Udupi, Jul 2: Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje on Tuesday, July 2 visited Nitin Gadkari, minister for Road Transport and Highways and urged him to hasten the development of various road works in the constituency.

Shobha requested Nitin Gadkari to look into the proceedings of extension work of Karavali bypass to Malpe road, Parkala to Theerthahalli, which connects many important places of Udupi-Chikkamagaluru constituency.

The MP also requested the minister to take action for the development of Belur-Chikkamagaluru road that connects the tourist places of the district. She discussed with the minister regarding the development of Shringeri-Balehonnur-Aldur-Nadipura road and also Thirthahalli-Nemmar road.

Shobha also requested the minister to resolve the issues faced by commuters on national highways of the constituency.

    It's just eye Wash, she is elected MP, she should make sure and have authority to complete the pending road work. If contractor not doing on time, shift your office to the location where the work is pending. Then only real development will happen.

    This shobh ashamed of herself in front of SUMALATHA AMBAREESH speech in Parliament ! SHOBKKA would have opted for TULU Language instead of HINDI which became TIKTOK viral and laughing stock of general public ! No one is taken serious of her so called speech reading !! I dont understand she cant present herself gracefully then how she can represent the people in parliament!

    Even she cant speak herself and she has got woman thing in her i.e. blaming others and ignite the fire

    I appreciate the first step taken by MP Shobha Karandlaje of thousand miles journey.Now she has taken some initiative and on track.Hope to set up a target of developments in her constituency and periodic monitoring,assessment is highly suggested in order to prove your credibility.Your bold and first time Hindi speech is highly appreciated.Keep it up.If you can't make a speech in Hindi,switch over to English.Let it be presentable

    Hindi speech was stupendous. No comparison.
    It’s not necessary to know English or Hindi or Kannada to that matter. In the good olden days our primitive ancestors talked by handsigns,
    We can still practice it and keep that tradition and Sanskriti.

    Let us wait to see some progress.

    PM Modi should ask all MP's to set their targets and periodically review progress card of each MP. This will make them pull up their socks.

    This should cover critical requirements of each constituency like water, health, education, employment, transport,economic development and other issues.

    Rakesh Mangalore,why ? Now she is being elected,gets tax payers money ,have to work.second,it is not enough only to urge someone but she has to see that urgently finished work is also done properly.Not half done and next year again pour money on it. Take to task if half done.control things now and then.
