Kundapur, July 1: The process of transferring extra teachers in Kundapur Education Office limits is in progress. Students everywhere have been expressing anguish against it. An order to transfer three teachers from Basrur government high school upset the students. They boycotted classes and protested on Monday, July 1.

There are 112 students in the high school and 16 teachers including the headmaster. Three among the teachers were identified as extra. Hindi and Social Science teachers have already been transferred. Students were devastated after an order to transfer Science teacher was also released through the headmaster.

It was raining on Monday morning and the ground was covered with sludge. However, this did not deter the students from protesting and shouting slogans. The protest was withdrawn after Kundapur circle education officer visited the spot, received the petition from the students and assured of forwarding it to senior officials.

Protest is backed by the teachers for sure. They are taking advantage of the students and asking them to protest.

I can't understand why these students protest. They go to school for studies , they don't have choice about transfer or appointment of teachers. I think someone is doing all this disturbance.
