Mangaluru, Jun 24: The management of St Aloysius College, heeding to the demands for world class infrastructure for its postgraduate programmes, relocated its Management and IT departments to Beeri in 2009. The spacious new campus is 10 km away from the parent institution.

Christened 'AIMIT' (acronym for St Aloysius Institute of Management and Information Technology), the institute is famed for its brand new sprawling campus with elegant academic spaces, compelling large hostels for men and women, spacious, well-endowed and almost 24X7 libraries, cutting edge audio-visual electronics in attractive classrooms, dedicated and constantly upgrading faculty, many year-round personality-development activities and above all, following the 140 year old tradition, plenty of opportunities for spiritual growth.

The MCA was the first PG programme which was started at St Aloysius College in 1999, and since then many students have successfully graduated and have been well placed in software industry.
