Puttur, May 15: International Nurses Day was observed at Vidyarashmi Nursing Institution in Savanoor, recently.
Speaking after inaugurating the event, Dr Shyamsundar said that the patient seeks nothing more than love and trust from the nurses during their illness.
Presiding over the function, K Sitaram Rai, convener, Vidyarashmi Mass Education Institution, said that nurses must try to build and develop self-confidence in the patients.
Devraj, manager, Savanoor Syndicate Bank, K S N Nidvannaya, director, S N R Rural Education Trust, Mitila Prasanna Rai, principal, Vidyarashmi Institution, Sheshagiri M, professor, Vidyarashmi Teacher Training Institute, and K Anand Prabhu, vice-principal, Vidyarashmi Nursing Institution, participated as the chief guests and addressed the gathering.
The lecturers of Vidyarashmi Nursing Institution like Amita, Pushpavati, Soumya, Priya, Naveen and Akheel, coordinated the event.
