Karkala, May 15: Highly talented students willing to the join the Alva's Education Institutions will be offered free education, said Dr M Mohan Alva, Alva’s Education Foundation chairman.
The students’ participation in extra-curricular activities and other cultural programmes will be given weightage during the admission for the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Business Management, BSW, BCA, BHRD and other available courses, he explained.
The students having special talents in classical, Carnatic and Hindustani singing, musical instrumentalists and Indian classical dance forms like Manipuri, Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Kathak, Kathakali, Odissi, Mohiniattam and others will be considered for free education, he said.
Apart from the above, students talented in yakshagana, theatre acting, quiz and yoga will also be given free education along with food and accommodation, he revealed.
The interested students are required to submit the application forms along with appropriate certificates and records, said Alva.
The selected students will be given education along with required training in the related field and will be provided with an opportunity to achieve their goals, he said.
