Mangalore: Reynol D’souza Secures 96.8% in SSLC Exams

Mangalore, May 6: Reynol D'Souza, son of Vincent D'souza and Jacintha D'souza, belonging to Urwa parish in the city, is a student of St Aloysius English Medium High School, Urwa here. He had appeared for the SSLC board examinations this year, and has topped the school with the following marks: Science - 100, Social Science - 99, Maths - 98, Hindi - 98, English -115, Kannada - 95, Total 605 with a percentage 96.8%. Reynol is interested in pursuing his further studies in science with electronics and wants to become an engineer.

He is a multi- talented student, who was the school pupil leader for the academic leader 2008-2009. Not only has he excelled in his academic studies, but also topped in his parish at the diocesan-level Catechism exam this year.

    Congrats Reynol. Silly comments from Deven, The first language paper is for 125 marks not 100. So total marks in SSLC is 625. Please don''t make such ignorant comments when the success of an individual is posted here. Also since you are ignorant, its quite obvious you want to discredit this news item.

    There seems to be something wrong with the calculation of the board. In English he has 115 marks out of 100, total is above 600? Please have re-evaluation done for his papers or have a correct accurate reporting.
