Udupi, May 28: “Minister Revanna had said that he will retire from politics if Prime Minister Narendra Modi is re-elected. But he has continued in politics. Probably his loving lime might have asked him not to leave politics,” said Kota Srinivas Poojary wryly.

Speaking in Udupi on Tuesday, May 28, he said that he does not know if Revanna has kept his word anytime. “The state government has died both in administration and people’s mandate. The dead government is being provided oxygen. Preparations for inducting new people after giving up experienced ministers are in progress. Chief Minister Kumaraswamy is not in a state of running the government. BJP has received people’s mandate in Lok Sabha elections. Leave your chair first,” he said.

The chief minister has made preparations to give up U T Khader and Jayamala from the cabinet. Kumaraswamy in the past had said that people in the coastal region did not vote for JD(S) as they are ignorant. Now that entire state did not vote for JD(S), do you say that people in the state too are ignorant,” he asked.
