Udupi, Apr 17: State BJP president D V Sadanand Gowda is a betrayer of the religion, by virtue of passing derogatory remarks against Sri Ram Sena leader Pramod Mutalik, charging him of having committed treachery against the society. Gowda passed this remark in spite of knowing well that Mutalik has devoted 35 years of his life entirely for the selfless service of the society, particularly the Hindu brethren, said angry Sri Ram Sena activists.
Sri Rama Sene state joint convener Jitesh Kumar and spokesperson Madhukar Mudradi questioned, “If working for the welfare of the Hindu community is considered as treason, what can Sadanand Gowda and the party of which he is the in - charge of, can be termed?”.
They urged Gowda to clarify as to whether the Hindutva principles, for which the BJP stood for, are fake. He should also apologize to Mutalik for the rude remarks, they demanded.
If Sadanand Gowda does not stop passing mean remarks against Sri Rama Sene, the Sene activists will plunge into action and get involved with anti-publicity against Gowda in the Lok Sabha election with full force, they warned.
The Sene will also wave black flags at every election meeting Gowda is scheduled to attend, if he does not mend his ways, the leaders cautioned.
