Kasargod, May 18: Subeesh (29), a headload worker from Uduma Pakam, who was arrested from Mangaluru international airport on arrival on May 16 relating to the murder of youth Congress workers from Periya, Kripesh and Sharathlal, was produced in the first division court at Hosdurg on Friday May 17. The court upheld the demand of the prosecution and handed over the custody of Subeesh to the custody of the investigating team for three days.
Subeesh had fled to Sharjah after committing the dastardly act. The police who had advance information, waited for Subeesh at Mangaluru airport and nabbed him on his arrival on Thursday morning.
The above murders had happened on February 17 this year. Subeesh had fled to the Gulf through Bengaluru airport eight days after the murders.
As Subeesh has been accused of having been directly involved with the murders, the crime branch team investigating the matter wants to subject him to intense questioning.
