People said accidents are caused at Muloor frequently because of the absence of service roads. As there are no service roads, the vehicles have to take a detour, reach Koppalangady and then take a U-turn to move towards Mangaluru. To avoid such long journey, vehicles which come from Muloor fisheries road try to move on the wrong side of the highway so that they can cross the divider at Uchila which is nearby.
