Mangalore, Apr 14: Mangalore Ladies Circle has provided library facility to the children of Mannagudda government school. Inaugurating the library, prominent social activist Prabha Kudva complemented Dr Shanti Menezes and her team for having involved themselves in such useful social causes. She also advised the children on the importance of reading and playing besides academics.

The Mangalore Ladies Circle is made up of the wives of the members of the Round Table, their motto being "Friendship & Service". The Circle is part of Ladies Circle International is committed towards helping the needy by conducting various projects financed by the funds it has raised.
Mangalore Ladies Circle’s long-term project of “Freedom Through Education “aims at educating one Million children. “Enlighten to Educate” is another six-point programme which aims at bringing quality education to India by providing financial assistance for needy students , sanitation and health care, building infrastructure and equipment for schools etc.
