Mangaluru: Muhurat of Kannada film ‘Rohitashwin’ held

Mangaluru, May 13: The muhurat of Kannada film ‘Rohitashwin’ by Rashank Productions was held at Sharavu Mahaganapathi temple here. Sharavu temple’s Raghavendra Shastri clapped and set the shooting in motion.

Film producers Megina Maladi Balakrishna Shetty, Kishore D Shetty, author Dr D Nada Shetty, international sportsperson, well known film actor Rohith Kumar Kateel, state journalists association executive committee member Jagannath Shetty Bala, director Madhu Surathkal, producer Shamanth Shetty Kateel, director Joseph Ninasam, Cijo K Jose, hero Srikanth Rai, actress Jayanti Adiga, Balakrishna Shetty Puttur, entrepreneur Jagannath Rai and others were present.

The film shooting for the film produced by Shamanth Shetty Kateel and directed by Jeesef Neenasam will be completed in one go in and near Mangaluru. “This is the second film that I am acting in after Ammachiyemba Nenapugalu. My part in the part is nice,” said film heroine Y Jayanti Adiga.

Honnali Chandrashekar has written dialogues in the film. Photography is by Cijo K Jose. Music, sound and songs are by Dr H V Venugopal and Honnali Chandrashekar.

Art will be handled by Dayesh Karkera, editing by Arun, dance direction by Charan Chennaraya Pattana, and production by Kumaraswamy R, Sandeep Hegde and Laxman. Chief technical director will be Sonu Nayak, assistant director Limosh, and co-directors will be Sandeep, Dheeraj S, Niva Shetty and Navin. Story and script is by Joseph Ninasam.
