M'lore: Six More Nomination Papers Filed in Twin Constituencies on Apr 8

Mangalore, Apr 9: With the filing of nomination papers by Girish Rai, candidate of Bahujan Samajwadi Party from local constituency on Wednesday April 8, the number of nominations received here so far rose to 13.

On the fifth day for filing the nomination papers, five persons filed nominations in Udupi-Chikmagalur constituency. They are Umesh Kumar (CPI-ML), B Vinayak Mallya (independent), Stevan John Menezes (BSP), Abdul Rashid (independent) and Venkatramana Hegde (independent). In Udupi constituency, 11 nominations have so far been filed.
