Udupi: Don't Deride Other Parties to Secure Vote for Congress - J P Hegde

Udupi, Apr 8: "You have to feel that you are contesting the election as the party candidates. Like a candidate, you should visit every home and plead with the people to vote for the Congress party. Without deriding any other party, you should bring to the notice of the people the achievements of the Congress and win over the minds of the general public," advised Congress Lok Sabha candidate from Udupi-Chikmagalur constituency, Jayprakash Hegde.

He was addressing a meeting of Brahmavar Block Congress workers held on Tuesday April 7 at Mother Palace auditorium in Brahmavar near here.

In her address, ex-minister Rani Satish exuded confidence that Jayprakash Hegde, who won the elections in the past as an independent having a leaning towards the Congress, will become victorious this time as he is being backed by every one in the Congress Party this time.

Congress leaders Pratapchandra Shetty, Pramod Madhwaraj, B Bhujanga Shetty, M A Gafoor and many others were present. Brahmavar Block Congress committee president Uadaychandra Shetty welcomed. Vijay Kumar and Balakrishna Poojary presented the programme.

    Well said for outlook, but please explain what is the advantge of money distribution, last MLA election you have distributed lot of money to buy vote, but you coud't suceed

    Well said. No controversy. Talk with morale and ethic. Thats the difference between a leaders with broad mindset and narrow mindset. DVS please take lessons from JPH.
