Hubballi, May 6: Rumours are making rounds that there will be change in the position of state BJP president after the Lok Sabha elections. However, the statement given by the present state BJP president on Sunday, May 5 has created sensation in this regard. He said, "Making change to the state BJP president post is left to the discretion of the national leaders of the party. I will abide by the decision taken by them. It is becoming difficult for me to manage both the posts of state BJP president and leader of the opposition in the legislative assembly of the state."

Speaking to the scribes, Yeddyurappa further said, "Police are arresting the activists of the BJP due to the pressure exerted on them by home minister M B Patil. A one-hour token protest condemning this act will be held throughout the state in front of the respective DC offices on May 6."

"More than 20 MLAs of Congress are not happy with the attitude of JD (S). The coalition government is going to collapse, after the Lok Sabha elections, due to their internal rivalry. BJP candidates are going to win by huge margins in the Kundagola and Chincholi bye-elections. There is no difference of opinion within the BJP party. All are united. BJP is going to win 22 seats in the Lok Sabha elections. Government led by Modi will assume power once again at the center," added Yeddyurappa.

Concluding his address, Yeddyurappa said, "People of the state are frustrated with the misrule of the coalition government. Chief minister Kumaraswamy, who had announced that he is going to waive the loans of farmers is now contemplating of issuing regret letter to them. He has cheated the farmers of the state."

Accusing the Congress party, former deputy chief minister K S Eshwarappa said, "Siddaramaiah has become the villain for the Congress party. He has cheated the Dalits by not giving them any facilities. He has brought conflict between the Lingayat and Veerashaiva communities. It should be made clear as to why the coalition partners Congress and JD (S) are fighting independently in the local body elections. The coalition government is going to collapse soon and Yeddyurappa is going to be the chief minister of the state again."
