Panaji, Apr 3: Despite the state home minister Ravi Naik announcing that Sri Ram Sene has been banned from entering the state, the ban however does not imply on half of Goa.

The administration of south district, which is dotting Karnataka, has said that they have not notified ban on Pramod Muttalik-led outfit.

''I have not received any intimation from police. As soon as I get something I will act,'' South Goa district collector Mihir Vardhan stated.

North Goa district administration, this week, has issued notification banning entry of Mutalik and other supporters in the district.

However, South Goa district which is nearest to Karnataka, from where Mutalik operates, has not banned the entry.

North Goa collector K Singh on Thursday told PTI that the notification is issued under section 144 CRPC.

''We will review the ban after two months,'' Singh said.

The North Goa collector has issued the notification based on the report filed by superintendent of police, CID (special branch).

State home minister Ravi Naik had announced ban on the SRS after Muttalik warned to enter Goan pubs.

Muttalik had accused Goa of spreading pub culture in the country. Naik had said that Goa will not tolerate such divisive outfits.
