Mangalore, April 2: ‘Zephyr-09’ a two-day national-level PG management fest organized by the department of business administration of St Joseph’s Engineering College, Vamanjoor, was inaugurated on Thursday April 2.
Addressing the students after inaugurating the event, John D’Silva, managing director, Abhyudaya Co-operative Bank Limited, Mumbai, said that the present education system is inadequate because of specializations.
“Every student must specialize in various fields. India is in the hands of unqualified politicians. Students should cast their valuable votes for a good government”, he said.
Fr Valerian D’Souza, director, said that such programmes would help business management students enrich their knowledge. He added that they should apply their mind to overcome recession.

Principal Dr Joseph Gonsalves, Fr Patrick Rodrigues, director, Fr Muller’s Charitable Institutions, Smitha Jesudasan, and Fr Henry Mascarenhas were present.
