Kasargod, Apr 29: A woman who had doused herself with kerosene, breathed her last at the Pariyaram Medical College Hospital here on Sunday April 28. She has been identified as Omana (53) from Chandera Maniyat. She had become agitated after her daughter quarreled with her.

Omana and her daughter, Regina (28), had fought on some issue on Friday. Angered by this, Omana had poured kerosene on herself and set herself on fire. Regina, who saw that her mother was burning, had jumped into a well in the courtyard. People from the neighbourhood rushed to the spot and put out the fire by pouring water over Omana.

Omana was taken to Pariyaram Hospital where she breathed her last. Regina was rescued by the villagers and the firemen. She was admitted into a hospital at Trikkaripura where she is recovering.

Find these both women are immature.Otherwise after fight one jumps in well as soon as she sees mother burning.and she jumps in well. Why?Daughter could have saved mother if she wanted and loves her´Mother instead too should have could have hold back from fighting and later torching herself.she is bit elder and understand what daughter wanted to tell.No understanding between both. Now can daughter explain to police what was wrong.Sad she lost her mother now.May her soul rest in peace.
