Puttur, Mar 19: A delegation comprising of BJP activists met the Dakhshina Kannada district superintendent of police on Wednesday March 18, and urged him to recommend to the government to ban the activities of Karnataka Forum for Dignity (KFD) for its alleged attempts to disturb peace in the society.
President of Puttur assembly constituency unit of the BJP Nanya Achut Mooditaya, local municipal president Rajesh Bannur, taluk panchayat president Chanila Timmappa Shetty and Puttur Urban Development Authority chairman Bami Ashok Shenoy led the delegation.
The delegation also visited the garage and goods office which were torched by miscreants. It met U Poovappa, veteran trader, who was injured in the stone pelting incident at his home and wished him speedy recovery.
