Beltangady, Mar 16: A resident of Udane Kalappar House named Janardan Gowda(35), son of Shivappa Gowda, died on the night of Saturday March 14, due to lightning.

It is learnt, that he was trying to fix the fuse of his home when lightning struck. He was married three months ago. Tahsildar Kaveriappa and other officials visited his home.
