Hats off to Mubarak. Wherever he sings in Indian musical shows he does it very beautifully. Singing Tulu song was really great. Full show was superb. MC, songs, dances and skits. We shouldn't forget our small Konkani speaking kids. Under the guidance of Linette D'Souza and Steevan Misquith they have performed too well. They sang in 3 languages Tulu, Beary and Konkani. Hats off them too. Too much claps and whistles they got. God bless them all and those who trained them. Ramesh Bhandary congratulations to you and your TKK team for giving such a wonderful musical show. Looking forward for many entertaining programs.

I think one word "kaathondulle" he found little difficult to pronounce.. 😄 Still he tried hard and sang very well just like our original tulu song. Congratulations to him and thanking him for accepting our tulu song. Jai tulund..

    Cynthi,

If you arrange a 'Musical Nite' in Kirem/Damasakatte/Kinnigoli area during Christmas eve...I can ask Mubarak Al Ajmi to attend....there is only one Caveat...need to remove all the (Visible ? )Pigs from Mangalore Airport to the Venue...

If you agree...let me know...we can proceed...

Did you buy 'Durbeen' yet, Cynthi???...We can use it to locate and remove Pigs as needed...

    ...Tak...Takk...

Langoolji, no you don't take trouble in stitching that dress.. Our tulunadu dress lungi shirt and bairass on the shoulder will be the best dress for this song. Regarding stone pelting, I will take care...leave that to me. In the meantime practice "ekka saka", and "madime daayeg aayena" too! Prizes are there.. All the best.

    People,

Wow...nice singing by Mubarak Al Ajmi...Al Ajmi is one of the main 3 tribes of Kuwait along with Al Mutairi and Al Rasheedi tribes...

This reminds me, when I joined Ministry Of Communication of Kuwaiti in July 1986 my first posting was Engineer , Pulse Code Modulations, PCM Fahaheel Telephone Exchange, there was a Kuwaiti co-worker of mine called Faisal Al Ajmi….he too was an Arabic Scholar and Singer...tall guy like this Ajmi...very nice guy...I believe he was a prominent Citizen of Fahaheel area then..

Only difference between then and now is... then Kuwaitis were not fluent in English, so it was bit difficult to communicate with them for Indians...now they are fluent in English, so easy to communicate and mix with them...

Mubarak Al Ajmi has a melodious voice....words were little difficult for him to pronounce ,,, however his efforts were great...and I am sure if he tries he could be an Indian melodious singer...

I wish Mubarak all the best...

    Well done Tulu Koota…

    ...Tak...Takk...
