Udupi, Mar 26: Shiv Sena inaugurated its district unit on Monday, Match 25 in Udupi. Also, Shiv Sena district president Gautham Prabhu submitted his nomination for Lok Sabha polls from Udupi-Chikkamagaluru constituency.
There is no inclination seen in the state to the coalition in Maharashtra. Therefore, Shiv Sena has involved in political competition for the preservation of Hindutva and unity since 2018 Vidhan Sabha elections.
While there is opposition within BJP for the candidature of MP Shobha Karandlaje here, there is no candidate from Congress for the first time. Pramod Madhwaraj travels in two boats saying that he is the candidate of the coalition.
Shiv Sena had contested in 42 constituencies in 2018 Vidahan Sabha elections and lost deposits. The candidates rejected by the people are in BJP and coalition party. Therefore, Shiv Sena leaders hope that their candidate will be favored this time.
‘We will file objections’
We will submit our objections after coalition party candidate Pramod Madhwaraj submits his nomination and officials scrutinize it. “The nomination is likely to be rejected if Pramod has made a mistake while resigning for the primary membership of Congress and his position or while obtaining JD(S) B form,” said Madhuker Mudradi, south Karnataka in charge, Shiv Sena state unit.
