Belgaum, Feb 24: "Sri Rama Sene has attracted national attention after the recent pub attack incident in Mangalore and other incidents that occurred relating to the celebration of Valentine's Day. As such, we are planning to expand the Sene into a national-level organization," said Sri Rama Sene founder Pramod Mutalik on Monday, February 23.
Speaking to reporters here on Monday, he said that various organizations from the length and breadth of the country, impressed by the programmes being undertaken by the Sene for the protection of Hindu culture, have been inviting the Sene to set up local units of the Sene there.
"We have received invitations from states like Delhi, Rajastan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Goa, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and some other states to open state units there. A meeting will be held to discuss the issue on March 29 in Delhi, where setting up of the executive council for the Sene and opening of various branches in different states will be discussed, Mutalik said.
