Kundapur, Mar 20: “It is immaterial who the candidates are for Lok Sabha elections in the country. Our candidate is only Narendra Modi. Our aim should be to strengthen him and make him the prime minister again,” said Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje. She was addressing party workers in the preliminary meeting held in
Kundapur party office on Tuesday, March 19.

“The high command has not made it clear who the candidate is in Udupi-Chikkamagaluru Lok Sabha constituency. But voters should remember that Modi is the candidate instead of naming other candidates. We should thereby make our candidate win with maximum votes. Modi should be brought forward for it and the election symbol of lotus should be made clear for the purpose,” she said.

Suresh Shetty Kadoor, president, BJP Kundapur, Sandhya Ramesh, Nalini Pradeep, Sadanand Balkur, Ganapathi T Sriyan, Laxmi Manju Billava and Sathish Poojary were present.

Shanker Ankadakatte welcomed and compered the programme. Suresh Shetty Kadoor, president, BJP Kundapur gave an introductory address.
