Mangaluru Mar 18: Social democratic party of India (SDPI) announced its candidate for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections during SDPI convention held at Nehru Maidan on Sunday, March 17.

SDPI will field its state president of SDPI Ilyas Mohammed Thumbay as the candidate in the forthcoming elections in Dakshina Kannada constituency. SDPI national general secretary Abdul Majeed Mysuru announced the name of the candidate.

 

SDPI district president Athavulla Jokatte, national secretary Alfonso Franko, PFI state president Mohammed Shafeeq and others were present.

    NO Doubt he is a very good candidate, SDPI, AIMIM, AAP all of these are very good parties with vision but when it comes to Mangalore, I am sure nearly 6-7 independent muslim and christian candidates will be posted by BJP for sure. So whoever stands from above mentioned parties are increasing the margin of winning by BJP in Mangalore as Congress didnt win MP seat from 90's.

    Step 2 - Bargaining with congress
    Step 3 - settling for a fixed amount ( dealing)
    Step 4 - Withdrawing Nomination saying we didnt want to divide secular votes.

    All Muslims of Mangalore should vote for Ilyas Mohammed Thumbay. SDPI is a people's national party. It's widespread popularity along with the misrule of BJP gives it a strong chance to form the government at center after the elections. Muslim friends, please vote for SDPI!

    Small parties simply announce their Candidates, file nominations and then take money from Main political parties and then withdraw their nomination.

    In Some cases it’s Vice Versa Main political party itself pays the money to contest elections, to divide the vote of the opponent.

    For BJP, it’s easy go. Do we need multiple parties who split genuine votes and thus make win for a party candidate we don’t need? We have to think wisely. First of all, we should think how many votes we can accumulate, is that enough to win our own candidate? Truly, everyone knows the fact.

    If we go through the statistics, Muslims never vote for BJP. & Hindus or Christians never vote for SDPI candidates. Muslims population is more or less 14% . That is not enough to win a candidate. So, we have to think wisely & make sure your genuine vote must not be wasted.

    Dear Its not whole Indian Muslim population going to vote in Mangalore, there is sizeable number of Muslim voters after Billawas, if Congress fail to put up muslims candiadte SDPI can give tough fight considering the popularity of Ilyas sahab within muslim community as well as daliths and chritians.
