Bengaluru, Mar 16: In a bizarre and amusing incident that occurred on Thursday, March 14 at the special court for people's representatives, the judge expressed his dissatisfaction at the behaviour of a BJP MLA who entered the court with a huge smile on his face.
Shivanagowda Nayak, BJP MLA, is the person who did not maintain the decorum of the court. Shivanagowda had come to the court as a witness in the scam related to the purchase of books during the period of 2008 to 2013, when BJP was in power in the state.
When the MLA entered the court room with a huge smile, Justice Ramachandra d Huddar objected and expressed his unhappiness at the gesture of Shivanagowda.
Warning Shivanagowda, the Judge said, "Don't you have the basic knowledge of how to behave in the court? As a MLA, you are acting so carelessly? Do you want me to handover you to the police custody?"
The lawyer of Shivanagowda asked the MLA to tender an apology to the judge. The MLA promptly obliged and asked for pardon, for his behaviour, through his lawyer.
