Mangaluru, Mar 15: Daivik Amrith Trust, a premier organization engaged in social service, with an intention to collect funds for poor students’ education is organizing a programme of musical ballet ‘Maa Tuje Pranaam’ in Hindi on the life of Mother Theresa at Holy Cross Church, Cordel, Kulshekar, open grounds on Sunday, March 17 at 6:30 pm. This sound and light programme will be enacted by Sangeeth Abhinay Academy, Mumbai.
In press meet held at here on Friday, March 14, Fr Andrew D’Souza, who heads the trust, said, “Daivik Amrith Trust has completed 13 years. We are engaged in Daivik Amrith Publications, Daivik Amrith Konkani Monthly, Daivik Amrith Pilgrimages, Conducting tours to holy places and Daivik Amrith Media giving TV programmes regularly on Divine Word channel. Daivik Amrith Charitable Trust has been helping poor students for higher education and giving charity to poor patients. This way we undertake social service activities,”
“Now with the intention of helping poor students’ study programmes, we are organizing ballet show led by Fr Charles Vas S V D. Msgr Maxim Noronha, vicar general of Mangaluru diocese will be inaugurating the programme and Fr Victor Machado, parish priest of Cordel Church will be the chief guest. The book written by J V D’Mello ‘Bhangara Khanas’ will be released on the occasion. Around 4,000 people are expected to gather on the occasion. “
