Villagers have done a very good job by handing over the thief to police. He is a shame to the nation and his parents.children.why steal cows from others and sell, work hard instead rear cows and sell.,He should be punished ,make him to spellout the other name too. villagers too watch their cattle ,not simply leaving to graze.who later never come back.

So the thief came back to collect the rear seat? means he left the seat where he steals cow. yes i can believe it. its normal. I dont understand why the trade now a days called as theft? Owners selling their cows which is transferred in cars because cow vigilantes intercept the tempos.

If it is their cows they are selling, then it's a trade. If it is somebody else's cows, then it's called theft.

Azeem, these cows are not left out... They were left out for grazing.. If you find any cow on the road dying in hunger inform the concerned authorities and do the needful. Don't have to rob.. Here commentators are right..

You are worried about the cows dying out of hunger and thirst.. Do you worry about the human beings without food and water in their huts, on roads, hospitals etc. ? At least cows graze the grass where ever they find. They don't trouble others..

At least 5 to 10 people who eat meat from stolen cow know exactly where the meat comes from. Instead of correcting their children or relatives they support them unanimously, make them Hero for the day and send them again for the same mission until he is caught.

As the General election nearing..., Investigation must also look into the angle of Stage managed show..., where the anger villagers to cause lynching doesn't arise..,

If we have to believe the murmurs.., the city known as Education hub of undivided South Kanara..., the beef is available in plenty....,

Many try beef coz it is known as putra jeevak...!!!! (b'coz of its high in protein & energy quotient)..., in one way the ban is good to control the population explosion...!!!! lol

Catching cattle chors is a risky Job, if something happens to him, even a heart attach due to running all will get into trouble. Better leave this to police to handle. Even i am told due to risks in these type of cases, they also don't go forward usually.

In that case, those who are involving in robbery, they should do thorough check up of their body, cardiogram/E.C.G. etc. Robbery means there's running, jumping, falling, driving.. If anything happens to the thieves during their robbery, police or villagers are not supposed to be held responsible.. Even police and villagers too may fall or they may get attack who will be responsible?
