Kuwait: KWAK Celebrates Vhodlem Fest in Honour of Our Lady of Lourdes

Kuwait, Feb 18: Kanajar Welfare Association, Kuwait (KWAK) celebrated Vodlem Fest in honour of their patron Our Lady of Lourdes, recently at Village Inn Restaurant, Kuwait City.
 
The celebrations began at 7.00 pm with a prayer and hymn dedicated to Our Lady Of Lourdes by culturel secretory Charlotte D'Souza. The programme then continued with the welcome address by president Antony Miranda. Fr Melvin D'Cunna, parish priest of Holy Family Cathedral,Kuwait and U C Poulose, director of Seon Ashram were the chief guests on the occasion.

Rose Mendonca and Anil Britto conducted exciting games, giving an opportunity to all to participate and enjoy.

The programme was compered by general secretary Edward D'Souza while treasurer Anil Britto proposed vote of thanks. Former president Lawrence Saldanha and the executive committee played a vital role in organizing the programme.

I have been staying and working in Mumbai for last 18 years and a stonge beleiver in Saibin Mai. Vodhlen Fest for me is those memories of celebration of High Mass in church and thereafer enjoyment in santh and thereafter Fetache Jevan at home are unforgettable.
