Karwar, Mar 11: Netizens are expressing rage against Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Anant Kumar Hegde for his controversial statement against AICC president Rahul Gandhi.

Two days ago, Hegde had questioned “Rahul Gandhi’s father is a Muslim and mother is a Christan. How come he is a Brahmin?” In addition, he had also said that after the murder of Rajiv Gandhi, DNA test of Rahul Gandhi was not done. Instead DNA test of Priyanka Gandhi was done by Sonia Gandhi.

The supporters of the Congress party are expressing their rage on social media condemning this statement of Anant Kumar Hegde.

The netizens have posted saying that “Let Anant Kumar test his DNA.” This statement of Anant Kumar Hegde has become a matter of intense discussion on the social sites.

This arrogant man thinks that whatever a minister states is always right. Why does he talk silly things if he doesn’t know the abc of it? A name or surname is not the monopoly of a particular community. A name / surname can be common to different religions or communities. RG’s paternal grandfather is Phiroze Shah Gandhy who was a Parsee or a Zoroastrian. This religion originated in Iran. Since there is no tradition of conversion in Zoroastrianism, RG’s grandmother, Indira Gandhi remained a Hindu and so was her son. Rajiv Gandhi. So Gandhi or Gandhy is not a fake surname and it is not restricted to a particular community or religion. I personally know a Parsee whose first name is Farooq and a Gujarati Christian whose surname is Jogi.

RaGa wore skull cap sporting a beard during UP elections stating that he was closely inclined to Muslims. 6 months later in Guj he became a Shiv Bhakt Brahmin wearing a sacred thread. 3 months later in Meghalaya he said he was close with Christians and liked Christianity. I have a feeling that this insane person has his roots somewhere in Pakistan. He is notorious for one controversy after the other and most of them are violent. He is in the news for all the wrong reasons. He started it by slapping a doctor, he wanted to change the constitution, then he wanted to wipe out Islam from the face of this earth, the other day he slapped some Manager and now his dirty tongue again is at work. Indians, by nature, are non violent and good persons. Pakistanis, by and large, are violent people. Of course, there are good Pakistanis too by to a large extent they are few and far between. Considering his violent nature all the time, I feel somewhere his forefathers were not from India. Probably they came from Pakistan and this man happens to be their product. Hence this fellow also has that violent nature. He is fair too with a long nose. Many Pakistanis are fair with long noses. There doesn't seem to be any other plausible explanation. If he were Indian he wouldn't behave in such a beastly manner.

This BJP's skill minister Anantkumar Hegde is no new to controversies. From slapping a doctor into linking 'Islam with terrorism', Hegde has always been in the news for all the wrong reasons.

A few years ago, he commissioned a documentary about himself, titled “The Real Hindu”, to spread his own legend, in which one of his achievements is listed as the “Ghar wapsi” of 300 Christian converts. He faced his first case of rioting, unlawful assembly and promoting enmity in 1993 during the Babri Masjid demolition when he was allegedly part of a rioting mob in Bhatkal. In 1994, he caught the attention of RSS by dodging prohibitory orders in Hubli, north Karnataka and raised the Tricolour flag at disputed Idgah Maidan on Independence Day.
Hegde is notorious for taking potshots at his political rivals by making astonishingly bizarre comments involving the family members of his adversaries. In January this year, while attacking his Congress rival Dinesh Gundu Rao in Karnataka, Hegde had dragged the latter’s Muslim wife on Twitter.
In December 2017, Hegde, who is the Union Minister of State for Employment and Skill Development in Modi’s cabinet, had controversially said that his party, the BJP, was ‘here to change the Constitution.’
Calling Rahul Gandhi a hybrid person, Hegde said that the former’s mother was a Christian while his father, the late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi was a Muslim. He asked, “How did the son of a Muslim become a Brahmin named Gandhi?” He did not stop here. He asked the Congress president to take a DNA test to prove that he was a Brahmin.
Union Minister Anantkumar Hegde has once again made a desperate attempt to polarise voters. His remarks though aimed at insulting Congres President, it is indirectly an open attempt to insult the minority Christians and Muslims of this nation.
The five-time MP who doesn't have anything to show for 'development' resorting back to his old habits of dividing people in the name of a religion for votes.

Firoz was a Parsi and his surname was Gandhy... as Parsi people have such surnames .Firoz as a politician inspired by Mahatma Gandhi just changed the spelling of Gandhy to Gandhi.
His full name was Firoz Jehangir Gandhy.
