Mangalore, Feb 16: The convocation of Srinivas Group of Educational Institutions was held at college campus at Valachil near here, on Sunday February 15.
The event was organized by A Sham Rao Foundation that runs these institutions.
Participating as the chief guest on the occasion, Dr S Ramanand Shetty, vice-chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, advised the students moving to the professional fields, to be ready to serve the entire field of their choice, without limiting themselves to a specific pre-determined frame of operations. Hence, every student must try to groom themselves as professionals in the global level, he asserted.
The knowledge gained through good education must be also utilized for serving the society in a better way, he said.
A Raghavendra Rao, president, A Sham Rao Foundation, presided over the function.
A Srinivas Rao, vice-president, D Shashikala R Rao, secretary, A Mitra S Rao, president, Vijayalakshmi Education Trust were present on the occasion.
Over 600 students from various Srinivas group of educational institutions participated in the programme.
