Mangaluru Mar 9: Union home minister Rajnath Singh arrived at Mangaluru International Airport on Saturday March 9.
Home minister Rajnath Singh was welcomed by MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLAs Vedavyas Kamath, Dr Bharath Y Shetty, Umanath Kotian and Sanjeeva Matandoor.
Home minister Rajnath Singh will address the party workers involving party's booth and mandal workers from Chikkamagaluru Shivamogga, Udupi and Dakshina Kannada at Nehru Maidan.
Later Rajnath Singh will address intellectuals comprising traders and various professionals at TMA Pai Hall.
Before concluding his one-day visit of Mangaluru, Rajnath Singh will visit Polali Sri Rajarajeshwari temple to witness the Bhramakalashotsava fest.
Police have strengthened security in Mangaluru on account of home minister’s visit. Two DCPs, 16 Police inspectors, 600 head constables/police constables, five KSRP and six CAR platoons deployed for security.
