Muthalik Buckles Down - Calls off V-Day Protests in Bangalore

Bangalore, Feb 12: The Shri Ram Sena has called off its proposed protests against Valentine's Day protests in Bengaluru. Sena founder Pramod Muthalik said that the decision to call off the protests was taken after they received specific information that some miscreants were planning to disrupt peace.

Muthalik, however, made it clear that protests against Valentine's Day would be held in other parts of the state. Regarding Bengaluru, he said, "I have specific information that there are some miscreants will intentionally try and disrupt a peaceful protest by us so that the Sena and the government in Karnataka gets a bad name. All the attention is on Bengaluru and I am sure that someone will create trouble and blame the Shri Ram Sena."

"We have no intention of creating trouble for anyone and neither will we resort to any violence," Muthalik stated. "In case any of our activists find anyone dressed indecently, then we will just protest in front of them," he added.

Muthalik said that calling of the Bengaluru protest is not a defeat for him or the Sena. "People across the nation know me now and my message has reached every nook and corner of this country. The impact of our message against Valentine's Day has been loud and clear and 50 per cent of the colleges in Karnataka have directed their students not to celebrate Valentine's Day. This is only an indication that our message has been accepted by the masses and the impact has been created," he added.

I left India/Mangalore over 20 years ago. The pot holes on the road which were there when i left have still to be fixed. May be these goons can do some good civic work and fix these pot holes than go around beating helpless women.

Muthalik has already mobilised some goons to go beserk on V Day. He very well knows them all and the places they will attack. To keep his position safe he has made a statement confirming that his followers who are dressed decently will ONLY PROTEST. His goons will do the damage!! This is typical hide and seek game of BJP and it parivar members.

Dog hides its' tail when scarred but still whines like brave. Barking Dog does not bite usually. Same is the case of Pramod Muthalik. Big talker without guts. Being a ex-don Mr.Agni Sridhar probably still have many Pub Owner as friends. So Agni does not want His friends to loose business. When hungry even Bad Apples taste good.

I think Mr. Mutalik has been not lucky in getting the love he wanted. That is why he is against Valentine day. If he know the meaning of love he wouldn't go against Valentine's day. Even Lord Ram must have given a flower to Sita to express his love. Can someone explain him the meaning of Valentine day

Pub Culture.…Rama Sene….Pramod Muthalik…..and all that…. A story narrated by my great respectful Kannada Master in St.Aloysius High School way back in my eight standard (1963) comes to my mind…

Once upon a time, there was a king….and an Astrologer visited him. The King asked him to read and narrate his future…..and after reading the palm and the stars, he said “Oh you great King., I see a lot of danger in your life ahead……very soon your wife, and all children will die and you will be left all alone crying for them for the rest of your life” The enraged King promptly summoned his Minister of Gallows and got this Astrologer immediately hanged to death. Then came another Astrologer after a few years….and the King requested him also to read and narrate his future…and after reading the King’s palm and the stars…he exclaimed….”Oh you great King…..you are destined to live and rule this proporous kingdome for a long time …..even may be nearly a hundred years even longer than aaall your family members”. The flabbergasted King promptly rewarded this Astrologer with lots of gifts of gold, jewellary and Royal felicitations.

The lesson of this story is of course very simple ….Going through the various messages supporting and opposing Pub Culture, coming to think of it, for the youth of our country, for that matter even foreign students studying here, the pub phenomenon may have emerged just too soon and may be after all it is indeed undesirable. Muthalik with a good heart may have tried to convey a genuinely good message but certainly he goofed up as he ended up conveying it in a wrong way………like the first Astrologer.

Dear readers, beware of mutalik's statement, don't accept his public statement backing of against v'day. His men would have been told to attack, then he can go scot free, without taking accountability claiming that they are not belong to Ram Sena. All the v'day pairs beware of this and try to catch such possible instance on camera/video.

About Mutalik's idea of sending Pink Sari, it is a good development, to the extent of color (pink) he is reformed towards accepting V'day. let us continue the effort in making him realise the fact. the pink effect is on. congratulations gals, keep it up.

It is better that Muthalik joins Politics. Very Big Liar as no politician speaks the Truth. He is under Bail and must have got an indication that any illegal action will cost him and his party heavily even the Likelihood of Ban. So he is playing Safe and is cautious. Time that other fanatics follow suit.
