Margao: Tiatr Academy Inauguration on Feb 16

Margao, Feb 12: Tiatr Academy of Goa will be inaugurated by Master Vaz, tiatrist, and Goa State Cultural Awardee, in the presence of chief minister Digambar Kamat at 5.30 pm on February 16.

The function has been jointly organized by the Government of Goa, Directorate of Art and Culture, Panaji, and Tiatr Academy of Goa at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao.

Fifteen Tiatr artists from Mumbai and Goa—Ophelia, Antoinette, Titta Pretto, Anita, Clara, Lucasa, Star of Arrosi, Antonio Moraes, C D Silva, Thomas Antao, Remmie Colaco, M Boyer, John Claro, Master Vaz, and Philomena Crasto, will be honoured on the occasion.

The main function will be followed by a cultural programme of comedy skits and songs by professional and amateur artists includings Roseferns, Peter-Roshan, Bab Myton, Victor, Maria Menezes, Rosy Alvares, Lawy Travasso, Com Joana, Com Edilson, Baby Rioma, Prince Jacob, Supremo Hubert, Agostinho,  Selvy, Jesus, Hortencio Pereira, Anil Kumar, Fatima, Rocky, Baby Zlyana, Xavier Gomes, Marcus Vaz, Felcy, C  D Silva, Shaikh Amir, Marcelino de Betim, and Ben Envagalisto.
