No harm to party due to Jadhav’s resignation - labour minister Venkataramanappa

Daijiworld Media Network – Chitradurga (MS)

Chitradurga, Mar 4: “Only because Congress MLA Umesh Jadhav has resigned does not mean that other Congress MLAs will also follow suit. There is no harm to the Congress party because of the resignation of Umesh Jadhav. If what Yeddyurappa says would happen, he would have been CM quite long ago,” ridiculed labour minister Venkataramanappa taking a dig at the BJP.

Speaking to the media, the minister said, “BJP is going around making false propaganda that many unsatisfied Congress MLAs will join their party. They do not have any other work.

“Public will teach a good lesson to people who have changed their allegiance from one party to another. People will defect to parties on which they have regards. Umesh Jadhav has resigned when four and a half years are still left for the completion of the present term. People have to understand this fact,” added Venkataramanappa.

The labour minister further taunted BJP by saying, “It is just a dream that Congress MLAs will join BJP. Yeddyurappa’s dream will never come true. If things would have turned out as the way Yeddyurappa says, he would have been the CM long ago. In addition, he would not have been dethroned within three years of becoming CM.”

Reacting to the issue of the fight between MLAs Ganesh and Anand Singh, Venkataramanappa said, “Both of them are good friends. They have fought for some personal reason. Children of the same mother, brothers, husband and wife also quarrel sometime. These family quarrels get resolved own its own. Similarly, the difference between these two MLAs also will become alright.”

He won the election under other party ticket and the people voted him considering the same. How can he betray the voters and put them in cross road for his personal gain?. Rule should be implemented that such MLA or MP should be barred from giving any ticket to contest election and re-election should be done in the same constituency.

Politicians those who leave the party for the sake of greed of money and power, should not be allowed to enter in any other parties on any ground. These politicians should work for the betterment of country and not for the betterment of their personal life. They should be able to give and sacrifice for the country and should not try to squeeze from the country. Jumping from one party to another means he is revealing the secrets of the party in which he was?? Shame on this greedy people.. His face only says....

He has quit the party with a definite purpose of contesting the Lok Sabha polls. This move is part of the larger design of the BJP and Modi, who is desperate to win Kalburgi.
Is Congress veteran Mallikarjun Kharge bracing himself for a fiery contest in Kalburgi in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls? With rebel Congress MLA from Chincholi Dr. Umesh Jadhav submitting his resignation to Karnataka Assembly Speaker Ramesh Kumar on Monday morning, Mallikarjun's worst fears have come true.
According to sources, Dr. Jadhav is speculated to join BJP on Wednesday in an event in Kalburgi, in the presence of PM Modi presence.
Jadhav, who was facing disqualification under the anti-defection law following a complaint filed by the Congress legislature party leader Siddaramaiah for “skipping” CLP meetings, had turned up for the budget session to evade disqualification.
Dr. Jadhav defection seems to be 'Operation Kamala 4'. But this time BJP has outsmarted JD(S)-BJP coalition government.
The BJP's plan of defeating opposition leader of the Lok Sabha and JPC Mallikarjun Kharge is working well.
How JD(S)-Congress is going to put a joint fight is still awaited.
