Movie by Children on Terror Attacks Premieres in Metro

Mumbai, Feb 11: The premiere of 'MH 26/11–Mumbai Under Attack', a docu-drama, was held on Tuesday February 10. It was attended by Bollywood celebrities, politicians, and various personalities from different walks of life.

This is the first film about the recent Mumbai terror attacks, and has been shot and directed by children.


 

The project was funded and supported by the Ryan Foundation under the aegis of Ryan International Group of Institutions. Ryan Foundation managing director Grace Pinto conceptualized the film under the 'Children Against Violence' project, with feedback from school students who deeply felt the agony of the terror victims.

The 20 students underwent a short film-making course for 20 days and the outcome was 'MH 26/11–Mumbai Under Attack'.

Bollywood actresses Hema Malini and Esha Koppikar, comedian Johnny Lever, director Imtiaz, Amita Suresh Kodot, and hundreds of students were present on the occasion.

Grace Pinto welcomed the gathering and Utkarsh Morya compered the programme.

    Is this really a creative work of children or the publicity gimmick of School management.Did we really need a film on this traumatic experience of 26\11 that too from children?
